DOYS
The Turin Project was Doys's first footwear project. It composed a constraint of creating just two shoe lasts. One last that is repurposed in three ways: as a derby, a boot, and itself, a clog. The other a high heel. Normally divided into upper, midsole, and outsole on the production sheet, Doys refused to compartmentalize these three elements. Instead, the brand treated the outsole and upper as a singular sculpture, where the design of both the upper and the outsole of each shoe is inseparable.
