BLK QUEEN WHT QUEEN is an ode to duality, an exploration of the electric tensions between light and darkness, order and chaos, self and society, black and white.

Through their work, the artist duo delves into the dual nature of the human mind and the society it shapes, presenting life as an endless cycle of transformation and a continuous search for place and meaning.

Produced by Ecume Studio, the project unfolds through film and photography, as Vlad and Arsène unravel the ever-shifting landscapes of the human psyche, where contradictions oppose and coexist, identities evolve, perspectives collide, and equilibrium remains perpetually elusive.

Through this visual and conceptual journey, BLK QUEEN WHT QUEEN invites viewers to navigate the space between opposing forces, embracing the complexity, uncertainty, and constant evolution that define both individual and collective existence.

BLK QUEEN WHT QUEEN is an artistic exploration of duality, examining the tensions that exist between opposing forces: light and darkness, order and chaos, individuality and society, black and white.

Through their multidisciplinary practice, artist duo Vlad and Arsène investigate the complex relationship between the human mind and the world it continuously shapes and reflects. Their work presents existence as a perpetual process of transformation, where meaning is never fixed and identity remains in constant motion.

Across film and photography, the project unfolds as a visual journey through shifting psychological and social landscapes. Contradictions emerge, perspectives intersect, and seemingly opposing realities coexist within the same frame, inviting viewers to reconsider established boundaries and definitions.

Rather than seeking resolution, BLK QUEEN WHT QUEEN embraces ambiguity and tension as essential elements of human experience.
